Her Campus Media Acquires Assets from Leading Influencer Marketplace Endorsify

July 3, 2020 (Boston, MA) - Her Campus Media, the #1 media portfolio for college and GenZennial women and parent company of InfluenceHer Collective, a GenZennial influencer marketing agency, announced today that it has acquired assets from Endorsify, a leading influencer marketplace that connects creators with paid brand opportunities.  Her Campus Media has acquired Endorsify’s network of over 10,000 female influencers and content creators.

The deal enables Her Campus to further enhance its influencer marketing capabilities and activate a larger network of creators for client campaigns.  This acquisition also bolsters the InfluenceHer Collective community, a robust, engaged network of female content creators who receive guidance, resources, skill-building, and collaboration opportunities through their participation in the collective and via Her Campus Media’s other properties Her Campus, Spoon University, and College Fashionista.

Endorsify was founded in 2016 by CEO Wally Sajimi, who had previously worked at Salesforce and United Bank of Switzerland, and CTO David Lee, a UC Berkeley alum and an ex-officer of the Machine Learning Committee at UC Berkeley.  Over the past four years they built a first-of-its-kind platform to enable the creation of user-generated influencer content for brands that allowed both parties to equitably agree on a price, becoming a sort of ‘Kelly Blue Book’ for pricing influencer UGC.  The company built a thriving network of influencers brands, including big-box retailers and leading CPG companies, relied on for their influencer marketing campaigns.

“Fostering community for creators and helping them to capitalize their pursuits are our utmost goals with our InfluenceHer Collective,” said Stephanie Kaplan Lewis, Her Campus Media’s co-founder & CEO. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Wally and David to grow this area of our business in a meaningful way and really move the needle for our influencer community and our brand partners through this mega injection of influencer talent.”

“We’re proud that Endorsify’s network will become part of Her Campus Media and the InfluenceHer Collective and we know that these influencers will benefit tremendously from the resources and opportunities they will now be able to access,” said Wally Sajimi, co-founder & CEO of Endorsify.

This deal marks Her Campus Media’s fourth acquisition in the past year. The company also acquired the Lala (May 2019), College Fashionista (August 2019), and Spoon University (November 2019).
