Her Campus Media Inducts Ten Alums Who Are Industry Leaders to ‘Hall of Fame’

June 19, 2019 (Boston, MA) - Her Campus Media, the #1 media brand for college women and career launching platform for the world’s top college journalists, announced today the creation of its ‘Hall of  Fame’ and the ten mega successful alumnae who will be its inaugural inductees.

Her Campus was founded in 2009 with the mission of supporting student journalists and providing them with a platform through which they could gain the clips and experience that would enable them to land media jobs and internships in the real world, so they could share their voice, realize their ambitions, and leave their mark.  Now ten years later, over 20,000 students have ‘graduated’ from the Her Campus program, and they’ve taken the industry by storm, with bylines in leading publications, senior-level roles at major companies, and significant presences on social media and through their own personal brands.

Coinciding with Her Campus's 10th birthday this year, it has created the Her Campus Hall of Fame to recognize alumnae of the Her Campus program whose accomplishments are truly outstanding. It will be inducting 10 inaugural honorees into the Hall of Fame this year - one for each year since Her Campus launched - based on these inductees' incredible professional achievements and the inspiration they provide to the Her Campus community, with more honorees to be inducted in the years to come.

The inductees will be honored in a ceremony at Her Campus’s Her Conference: Empower event in Brooklyn this Saturday June 22.  Her Conference is the biggest, boldest gathering of college women globally, where attendees experience up-close interaction with industry leaders covering everything from media, marketing, and entrepreneurship to entertainment, tech, social impact, leadership, and more.  The inductees will also be profiled on Her Campus’s newest digital and social platform, Her20s.
