Her Campus Joins MuslimGirl.com in Partnership for #MuslimWomensDay March 27

BOSTON, MA (March 11th 2019) — Her Campus is teaming up with MuslimGirl.com and some of the most visible digital brands and media partners on the Internet to pass the mic to Muslim women in celebration of the third annual #MuslimWomensDay this Women’s History Month on March 27. This year’s theme is “Muslim Women Talk Back to Immigrant Life” as we center the voices of Muslim women impacted by the immigration policy, DACA, the refugee crisis, and beyond.

We believe it’s crucial to tell Muslim women’s stories to ensure that they are represented in the conversations directly impacting them. In this way, we choose to be allies by elevating the narratives we don’t always get to hear. We stand with Muslim women against hate, discrimination, and violence.

In today’s world, it’s more important than ever for all of us to commit to the inclusiveness that makes the world a better place, and to talk back when it matters the most. Join us in celebrating #MuslimWomensDay by using the hashtag on March 27 and be the change.
