Her Campus's College Fashion Week® 2014 Kicks off with Sponsors boohoo, TRESemme, bareMinerals & More

BOSTON, MA (September 12th 2014) - College Fashion Week®, the premier fashion show tour put on annually by Her Campus Media, kicks off on Saturday, October 4th in Boston, with stops in New York (Saturday, October 11th), Chicago (Saturday, October 18th) and San Francisco (Saturday, October 25th).

Each College Fashion Week show features real college women — or as Her Campus calls them, collegiettes™ — as its models, having them present the latest fashions to their friends and contemporaries right in their college town. Leading international e-retailer boohoo is the official fashion sponsor of this year’s tour and is recruiting fashion-forward college brand ambassadors who will bring head-turning trends direct to the student community.  Boohoo will also be launching pop-up closets where attendees can check out the latest trends in clothing, shoes, and accessories so they can achieve the best-dressed status on campus this fall.

Official hair care sponsor TRESemme will style the hair looks for the fashion shows in each market backstage with the latest trends, and will host a Dry Styling Trend Bar at the shows where leading TRESemme stylists will elevate the attendees’ looks with the latest styles, inspired by the runways for many of New York’s most celebrated shows, while teaching them how to recreate and achieve these looks at home with affordable salon-quality products. Attendees can then head over to the bareMinerals Makeup Station for quick pre-show makeup touch-ups and foundation shade matching by bareMinerals makeup artists. With their hair and makeup looking #flawless, attendees can step right into a LinkedIn Headshot Photo Booth sponsored by TRESemmé and bareMinerals to snap a “perfectly profesh pic” to grace their profiles.

As the official makeup sponsor of this year’s tour, bareMinerals will also be hosting exclusive parties in their boutiques before each show so that CFW fans and models can get glam before they walk the College Fashion Week red carpet.

In addition to being treated to the latest fashions down the runway with lively student performers in between the sets, attendees can take their best selfies yet thanks to Simon Premium Outlets’ GIF social sharing photobooth (in partnership with The Bosco), and refuel with complimentary delicious and nutritious snacks from LUNA.  NYC attendees will also score free brow touch-ups at a Brow Bar by European Wax Center, who is also the sponsor of the #CastMeCFW National Instagram “Selfie” Model Search (and will be giving selected models bold, beautiful brows!).

For those collegiettes who can’t attend a College Fashion Week show, we’ll have “It Girl” bloggers (mega influencers in the blogosphere!) at each show to cover it on behalf of TRESemmé, and who will be reporting on their fave looks and styles on their blogs, HerCampus.com, TeenVogue.com and #TREScfw on social.
