Her Campus Media founders Annie Wang, Stephanie Kaplan Lewis, and Windsor Hanger Western met as Harvard undergraduates while running a student publication for Harvard women. The publication soared in popularity with college women across the country, who began asking for advice on starting something like it at their own schools. Annie, Stephanie, and Windsor had the idea to build something similar on a national level to serve college women everywhere, and in 2009 they won Harvard's business plan competition with their vision for Her Campus Media. They've been building the company into the number one media and marketing company for college women ever since, and Her Campus Media remains 100% women-owned and women-run today.

Stephanie has grown Her Campus to a reach of over 85MM+ monthly multi-platform content views, with chapters at 360+ colleges worldwide. Stephanie also spearheads Her Campus's additional user-facing initiatives, including 22 Under 22, the InfluenceHer Collective and High School Ambassador Program, oversaw Her Campus's first book, The Her Campus Guide to College Life which was a back-to-school bestseller at Barnes & Noble, and led Her Campus's acquisition of HerUni Media Limited. Stephanie has spoken at Harvard University, Stanford University, S.H.E. Summit, University of Southern California, and more and she is a 2016 EY Entrepreneurial Winning Woman. Stephanie is a 2010 graduate of Harvard University where she was a member of Delta Gamma.

Annie drives innovation across all of Her Campus’s multimedia initiatives, leading creative and technical strategy to build the products and experiences that make Her Campus the most beloved, authentic, and recognizable brand for college women everywhere. Under her guidance, the HerCampus.com CMS has flourished, serving a community of thousands of contributors and millions of readers around the world. Annie also leads the design arm of the company’s marketing agency practice, and oversees management of Her Campus Media' e-commerce destination, hcxo.shop. In 2017, Annie graduated from Harvard University with high honors in Visual and Environmental Studies after taking a leave of absence to work on Her Campus full time since 2010.

Windsor leads business development, marketing, and sales and has been responsible for bringing on clients including TRESemmé, bareMinerals, H&M, Merck, ASOS, Vera Bradley, Microsoft, Tidal, and Intel. Windsor was responsible for creating and bringing to life Her Campus's signature experiential programs including College Fashion Week®, Her Campus Tour, and Her Conference®. She has spoken at Cannes Lions, The GirlUp Leadership Summit at the White House, Cosmopolitan's Fun Fearless Life Conference, and many more. Windsor is a 2010 honors graduate of Harvard University where she majored in the History of Science with a citation in French.
