The acquisition further strengthens Her Campus Media as it aims to cement its position globally as the leading brand in the female college space.
With the completed acquisition, Her Campus Media will integrate HerUni’s assets across the company’s existing platforms, including UK-based campus chapters, web traffic, email and social followers, and advertiser programs and partnerships. Her Campus Media’s bolstered position in the female college content and advertising spaces now includes a feet-on-the-ground presence at 250 campuses across five countries, with site traffic of over 3.3 million monthly visitors—offering marketers unprecedented access to the female college demographic. And with 100% of its content authored by current undergraduates, Her Campus represents the largest career-launching platform for students interested in pursuing careers in media after graduation, with Her Campus Media alumnae securing jobs and internships at Glamour, Vogue, Vanity Fair, The Washington Post, MTV, Digitas, Ogilvy, and countless other prominent institutions.
