Amanda received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of New Hampshire in May of 2016. During her time at the University of New Hampshire, Amanda was a member of UNH's Her Campus team serving as a Contributing Writer, Co-Social Media Manager and Co-Campus Corespondent. In addition, she was also a Chapter Advisor for five HC Chapters. It was through her internships with WGBH&PBS, SheSpeaks, Inc. and the UNH Social Media Department that Amanda realized she wanted to pursue a career in Digital Marketing and Social Media with a focus in the publishing and media industry. In her free time, Amanda likes anything involving food, hanging out by any body of water, and spending time with her amazing friends and family.
Sammi is a recent graduate of Siena College, where she received her degree in Biology and acted as a writer, Social Media Manager and Senior Editor of Her Campus at Siena. She was also a Senior Chapter Advisor and Contributing Writer to the After College section prior to joining the national team. When she's not trying on new lipsticks, wishing for a Chick-fil-a to come to Boston or singing along to Taylor Swift, you'll probably find her smashing the patriarchy or taking a Netflix nap.
Cara oversees the expansion, development and engagement of HC's on-campus chapter network, a community of 10,000+ students at 340+ colleges and universities worldwide. She collaborates with the client services teams to strategize and execute digital, sampling and experiential campus offerings for clients, such as Plan B One-Step, Aritzia and St. Ives, and for HC's tentpole events like Her Campus Tour and College Fashion Week®. She is also in charge of Her Conference® programming and growing HC's off-campus community offerings, including the alumni network. Cara graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida in 2014 with a degree in journalism and minors in leadership and women's studies.
Erin is the Entertainment Editor of Her Campus. She graduated from Belmont University in 2015, where she studied English and Elementary Education. Before joining the team full-time, she was a national contributing blogger, viral content writer and editorial intern at HC. In addition to her work for Her Campus, Erin was formerly an editorial assistant at Nfocus Magazine and has been published by Hello Giggles and Man Repeller. In her free time, you can find Erin falling for yet another TV boyfriend (her long list of ex-lovers includes Nathan Scott, Chuck Bass and Pacey Witter, to name a few), reading chick lit and/or celeb memoirs and hanging with her puppy/soulmate, Cooper.
In her role as Senior Marketing Manager of Marketing & PR, Elaina oversees Her Campus’s social media and email strategy, cross-promotional partnerships and new product launches. Prior to joining the HC team, Elaina led multi-channel national marketing campaigns for The Princeton Review. She has also lent her marketing expertise to a number of startups in the non-profit and sports industries, leveraging partnerships with brands including Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Live Nation, Team Impact and CrossFit. Elaina is an avid reader and runner, a lover of film and live music and super-mom to her toddler, Charlie.
Iris is the associate editor at Her Campus. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in communications and gender studies, but was born and raised in France with an English mother. She enjoys country music, the color pink and pretending she has her life together. Iris was the style editor and LGBTQ+ editor for HC as an undergrad, and has interned for Cosmopolitan.com and goop. Meghan Keefe is a senior associate on the integrated marketing team at Her Campus Media. While she was a student at Boston College, she was on the HC BC team and led as a Campus Correspondent for two semesters. After graduating and working for three years in public relations, she decided it was time to rejoin the Her Campus team. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring Boston and traveling - anything that gets her outside.
Danielle is the Business Development Manager for Her Campus Media. Before making her way to Boston, Danielle grew up in Fort Lauderdale and then graduated from the University of South Florida with a BA in Public Relations and minor in Leadership Studies. She is also a proud member of Alpha Omicron Pi. At USF, Danielle served as a features writer and the sorority liaison for Her Campus USF. In addition to being involved with Her Campus, Danielle was a member of her University’s Ambassador Program and spent her senior year as the marketing assistant for her University’s Wellness Department. Stephanie has grown Her Campus to a reach of over 78MM+ monthly multi-platform content views, with chapters at 340+ colleges worldwide. Stephanie also spearheads Her Campus's additional user-facing initiatives, including 22 Under 22, the InfluenceHer Collective and High School Ambassador Program, oversaw Her Campus's first book, The Her Campus Guide to College Life which was a back-to-school bestseller at Barnes & Noble, and led Her Campus's acquisition of HerUni Media Limited. Stephanie has spoken at Harvard University, Stanford University, S.H.E. Summit, University of Southern California, and more and she is a 2016 EY Entrepreneurial Winning Woman. Stephanie is a 2010 graduate of Harvard University where she was a member of Delta Gamma.
Rachel is the Social Media Editor of Her Campus. She graduated from Elon University in 2015 where she wrote for Her Campus's Elon chapter as well as the national LGBTQ+ section, and has since held editorial positions at Hello Giggles and Brit + Co along with running social media for Feather Magazine and Religion News Service. Erica is responsible for executing creative assets for 340+ college chapters as well as designing graphic and branding material for HerCampus.com. Despite her background in journalism, she is most passionate about typefaces, magazines, modern art and all things design. Originally from Atlanta, Erica moved up north to attend Boston University and graduates in 2016.
Katrina leads the national business development and sales team to establish meaningful and innovative brand sponsorships, while developing the careers of her team. Previously, Katrina was a sales leader at a branded content media platform where she generated global brand partnerships and advised clients on best practices to capture audience engagement. She is also the co-founder of Women’s iLab, a social enterprise accelerating female leaders through its website, events and proprietary networking technology. Katrina’s work has been recognized by the Digiday Content Marketing Awards, Advertising Age Viral Video Awards, Fast Company, The Boston Chamber of Commerce Innovation Spotlight and the City of Boston’s ONEin3 Award. Katrina has been a part of the Her Campus family for a long time being on the founding team of Her Campus UNH. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire and went on to get her Masters from Northeastern University where she studied business, marketing and accounting. Katherine Mirani is the News Editor for Her Campus. She graduated from Northwestern University's journalism school in 2015. Before joining Her Campus full time, she worked on investigative stories for Medill Watchdog and the Scripps News Washington Bureau. When not obsessing over journalism, Katherine enjoys pasta, ridiculous action movies, #longreads, and her cockatiel, Oreo.
Christy is the Business Development Manager, responsible for collaborating with her brand partners to create individual and effective marketing solutions. Christy comes to Her Campus with over 10 years of media sales experience. She began her career in NYC at her childhood dream job, and all-time favorite magazine, Bon Appetit. She continued onto became Men's Journal's #1 Salesperson, initiating business with high level brands such as Visa and Citibank, in the print space. She relocated to Boston in 2008, after taking a year to travel the world with her now husband and next worked with the brands Nat Geo Adventure, FamilyFun Magazine and Ciclismo Classico to grow their revenue and client relationships. A graduate of Boston College, she is thrilled to re-engage with the college audience back in her college town, with Her Campus. Christy lives in Arlington, MA with her husband and two year old daughter, Josie.
Katie graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2015, where she studied poetry, psychology and women’s studies. Prior to joining HC’s full-time staff, Katie was a national contributing writer and health editor. In addition, Katie interned at Cleveland, EMILY’s List, and the National Partnership for Women & Families. Katie is also an alumna of Kappa Alpha Theta. In her spare time, Katie enjoys writing poetry, hanging out with cats, eating vegan cupcakes and advocating for women’s rights.
Joanna is responsible for developing creative sales and marketing packages and strategic pricing for all of Her Campus Media’s dynamic offerings. Previously, Joanna spent nine years at Time Inc. as an integral member of the sales planning and strategy team at People.com. Joanna graduated from Pace University where she studied communications and media arts. She and her husband live in New York with their two young children and love spending the weekends with their large Italian families!
Katie handles the day-to-day management, development and expansion of our chapter network to ensure that our on-campus presence is stronger than ever. She recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, where she studied Nonfiction Writing and Communication. Her extensive Her Campus background dates back to 2012 and she has since held the position of Campus Correspondent and Chapter Advisor. When Katie isn’t watching the Pittsburgh Penguins, you can find her trying new restaurants, obsessing over her long list of shows (The O.C., Scandal and Gilmore Girls are top picks) or setting out to find the perfect donut.
Marisa graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in journalism and Spanish. While a student, she contributed to the HC UFL chapter as a writer, blogger, and editor. After spending some time abroad teaching English to high school students in Madrid and working with the press team in the Rio 2016 Olympics, Marisa was thrilled to join Her Campus again as the national team's Branded Contest Specialist. Currently, she assists Integrated Marketing with managing social media and executing sponsored content programs for major advertisers. In her free time, you can find her running, playing volleyball, jamming out on the guitar, experimenting in the kitchen, or planning her next travel itinerary.
Stephanie is the Business Development Coordinator at Her Campus Media . A graduate of Suffolk University, Stephanie held the position of secretary at the HC Suffolk chapter and lived the real life "Pitch Perfect" as business manager of her a cappella group the Suffolk Ramifications. Before joining the Her Campus team, Stephanie held positions in experiential marketing and public relations. In her free time you can find her with family & friends, sitting with a good book, getting stressed out over football & hockey or hunting down the best gluten free food Boston has to offer.
A graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and a proud alumna of Kappa Alpha Theta, Maggie works with client services. She is iced coffee obsessed, an avid Pinterest user and lover of all things fitness and fashion. When she’s not at Her Campus, you can find her trying new restaurants or re-watching The O.C.
Emily is the Vice President of Brand Partnerships at Her Campus Media. In this role, she leads the sales team and develops custom marketing programs for brand partners. Emily is responsible for bringing on new clients including P&G, TRESemmé, Garnier, 7 For All Mankind, FRYE, UGG Australia, Chobani, boohoo.com, European Wax Center, and Uber. Previously, Emily worked on the corporate sales & marketing team at Hearst Corporation in New York where she managed advertiser marketing programs and events across the 20+ iconic brands in the Hearst Magazine portfolio (e.g., Cosmopolitan, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Oprah, Seventeen). While in New York, Emily served on the Programming and Events Committee for the Alliance for Women in Media where she produced unique networking experiences for industry leaders. Emily graduated in 2009 from Bucknell University where she studied management and psychology. She is a Platform Tennis Junior National Finalist and is passionate about travel, pop culture, technology and media, country music, fitness, coffee, wine, and frozen yogurt!
Lexi graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in May 2016 where she studied journalism and communication. Prior to joining the national team, Lexi was a contributor and social media editor for HC UMass Amherst. Her digital marketing internship at ELLE inspired her to pursue a marketing career in the publishing industry. In her free time Lexi enjoys catching up on her favorite fashion blogs, running, reading and planning her next adventure.
Megan works to grow and maintain networks of 2300+ Influencers and 600+ High School Ambassadors. She conceptualizes and executes new programming initiatives for network members, assists the Integrated Marketing team on paid client campaigns for bloggers and ambassadors and serves as the public face of both the InfluenceHer Collective and the High School Ambassador Program. After attending Emerson College, where she spent semesters in Boston, London, and Los Angeles, Megan has settled in New York City. Before Her Campus - where Megan started as an editorial intern - she held various positions in public relations, education and entertainment marketing. When she’s not at the office, you can find her jet-setting with a good book, binge-watching Friends (again) or hunting down some French macarons.
Lauren is a Boston based designer who graduated from Keene State College in 2016 with a BFA in Graphic Design and Minors in Art History and Studio Art. She is the President of the non-profit organization For The Love of Edie. She is curious, never content having one set of skills, constantly pushing herself to acquire more, and driven to create.
Cara has been with Her Campus (originally as a contributing writer) since its launch in September 2009 and has been Managing Editor since November 2009. She graduated from Cornell University in 2010 where she majored in American Studies with a concentration in cultural studies. In her free time, Cara loves to go boxing, travel, attempt to learn to cook and read.
Nicole is originally from Virginia Beach, VA. Currently, she lives in northern VA with her husband and 3 month old baby boy, Harper. Being a new mommy is chaos - but she still tries to find some time to do the things she loves such as cooking, eating (...naturally), yoga, barre, and refining her skills as a self-proclaimed beer snob (she loves trying new brews!). She loves experimenting with new beauty products, and she's a huge Bachelor/Bachelorette fan. She's also managed to remain far too emotionally invested in Grey's Anatomy... she never misses an episode! She's trying to do more reading and journaling - both are huge goals for 2017. Annie drives innovation across all of Her Campus’s multimedia platforms, leading creative, technical and user experience strategy to build the products that make Her Campus the most beloved and authentic brand for college women everywhere. In January 2016, Annie successfully launched a major company rebrand, unveiling a new HerCampus.com, College Fashion Week, email newsletter, and more in the process. A firm believer that product is only as good as your process, she also oversees company operations and helps craft winning workflows for internal teams. Annie took a leave of absence from Harvard University in 2010 to work on Her Campus full time, and has enjoyed sharing her entrepreneurial story with students ever since.
Windsor leads business development, marketing, and sales and has been responsible for bringing on clients including TRESemmé, bareMinerals, H&M, Merck, ASOS, Vera Bradley, Microsoft, Tidal, and Intel. Windsor was responsible for creating and bringing to life Her Campus's signature experiential programs including College Fashion Week®, Her Campus Tour, and Her Conference®. She has spoken at Cannes Lions, The GirlUp Leadership Summit at the White House, Cosmopolitan's Fun Fearless Life Conference, and many more. Windsor is a 2010 honors graduate of Harvard University where she majored in the History of Science with a citation in French.
